Block and Officer’s Report: attempts are being taken to collect past due HOA dues.
Violations for unmowed yards, trash cans in street, etc. have been reported to city code enforcement.
Old Business:
86 people attended the Friday Easter party in the park
New Business:
Board has reviewed bid for park maintenance and repairs.
Board approves items 1 – 4 which includes repainting of entrance signs ($326.43) and park signs ($283.24) repainting the park slide ($188.55) and repairing/replacing soccer goals ($457.45). Total for this maintenance is $1255.67. This work will be completed by John Coppernoll. He is currently the park maintenance.
Board will set aside for discussion trash can replacement, volleyball net replacement, and park rules sign.
Concerns about the merry-go-round will be discussed.
Easter party expenses will be reimbursed.
Pavilion tables will be washed.

Old Business:
- Park maintenance has mulched park gardens and will be reimbursed.
- Basketball nets will be here soon and will be installed.
- Tetherball nets have been installed.
- Soccer nets and volleyball nets will be replaced soon.
- Problem with water collecting at bottom of park slide has been resolved.
- Website has been updated with new board member information.
New Business:
- Discussion of replacement of park play area retaining wall has been started and will be ongoing.
- 3 residents in HOA debt. Mike S. will attempt to collect or legal action will be taken.
- Easter Party is Friday April 19 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the park

Board Positions: Mike Stafford has stepped down from board position. 3 positions are open. Michael Brackin, Elaine Platt, and Shelton Riggins were voted to fill the positions and the board has accepted. Positions are as follows:

New Business:
The website will be updated with accurate information.
The board approved Mike S. to purchase soccer nets. The board approved resident Sabrina Clark to purchase basketball rims and nets. She will be reimbursed.

Monday, January 28, 2019
Call to order: 7:00 p.m.

Treasurer Report: As of December 31, 2018: $34,821.66. For information on 2018 profit and loss, please contact Association Services by email: Help@associationservicesbcs.com
Old Business:
We are still working on a bid for repairing the park retaining wall.
Poison ivy in the park area has been taken care of as needed.
Member concerns:
- Promotion of Brazos Valley Recycling – if there is 50% participation on the street, participants receive a discount
- New basketball nets –Mark C. has nets and will have them installed
- Westwood Estates sign at the entrance on 2818 need repaint. A motion was proposed to conduct a nonbinding referendum about this. Results:
Want new sign = 5; want sign repaired = 5; want to do nothing = 1
- Park entrance sign needs total reconstruction; board is in process of getting prices for materials and construction

New business:
Election: Elaine’s, Mike’s, and Michael’s terms are finished which opened 3 positions. Shelton Riggins, Elaine and Michael were voted to fill those positions.
Mowing bids:
Joel Coppernoll placed a bid. Board voted and accepted bid.
Board voted to continue the services of Association Services for 2019
Board meetings are held on the 3rdMonday of each month. Residents are urged to attend. Please check the website and NextDoor.com for updates or cancellations.

- Be on the lookout for strangers entering yards, knocking on doors and being persistent

- National Night Out takes place on October 2, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Park Pavilion
- Action has been taken on the residents that are behind on dues
- Halloween at the Park party on October 31
New Business:
- Fall newsletter will come out in a few days along with the invitation to National Night Out party
- Mowing contract: the board will handle the bid process as usual
