WECIA Board will meet on Monday April 18 at 7 p.m. at the park. Homeowners are invited to attend.

Westwood Estates Annual Meeting Scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday March 28

The Westwood Estates Annual Meeting originally scheduled for March 28 at 7 p.m. is now being held at 6 p.m. at the Westwood Park pavilion (same day.) All homeowners are encouraged to attend.

Westwood Estates Annual Homeowners Meeting to be rescheduled

The Westwood Estates Annual Homeowners Meeting has been rescheduled to the following date:

Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. in the Westwood Park. Homeowners will be receiving the meeting proxies in the mail soon. To make the meeting process go smoothly, please fill it out and bring it to your block captain as soon as possible (if you don’t plan to attend the meeting.) We must have a certain amount of votes if we are to have a meeting.

Westwood Estates HOA Annual Meeting change of location

The Annual Homeowners meeting that is scheduled for Monday, March 7, 2022 at 7 p.m. will be held at the park (originally scheduled for fire station.)

WECIA Homeowners Association regular board meeting is scheduled for August 2, 2021 at 7 p.m. Location of the meeting is 3203 Turtle Grove Circle. All are welcome to attend.

Regular Board meeting of May 24, 2021

MINUTES

Call to order:  6:53 p.m. at the park

Members present:  Elaine, Mark, Shelton, John.  Extras present:  Mike Stafford, Clyde Garland

Old Business:

Board voted to approve Association Services to pursue legal action for residents having past dues.  There is approximately $2000 total past dues.

Board discussed having a plaque or something in memory of Mr. James Carter and Mr. Burl Russell.  These two residents have recently passed away.  They were very active members of our community.

Resident complained of bright light entering their back windows as a result of lighting in the park.  They are requesting to have a light deflector installed.  Mike Stafford will check into this.

Minutes from 2020 meeting accepted

Treasurer Report:  $34,635.48 as of December 2020

Old Business: 

Board and residents have voted to turn over past dues of $200 or more to collection agency.

New Business:

  •  There are 3 board positions open to fill.  The following residents were voted in to fill the positions:

Shelton Riggins

  • Board and residents have voted to continue the services of Association Services as the HOA management

Member concerns: 

 Unfinished driveway on Westwood Main.  Members voted to move discussion to special board meeting following immediately after annual meeting.

Next board meeting:  Monday, June 7, 2021 at 7 p.m. in the park
